Distinguished Speaker: Henri Savall, ISEOR, Magellan, IAE Lyon, U. Jean Moulin

Henri Savall is an Emeritus Professor at the Institut d’Administration des Entreprises, University Jean Moulin Lyon 3, where he was the founder and co-director of the SEAM (Socio-Economic Approach to Management) Business School “Centre EUGINOV”. He is the founder and president of the ISEOR Research Center. Professor Henri Savall has a multidisciplinary education in economics, management, accounting, finance, political science, linguistics, and economic history. He holds two doctoral degrees in Economic Sciences and in Management Sciences from the University of Paris. He has authored and co-authored more than 50 books, 100 articles and 300 conference papers, in French, English and Spanish.

Savall's core objective is to explore and demonstrate the compatibility between social and economic performance within organizations. His research methodology is referred to as “intervention research” and “qualimetrics” as it goes beyond traditional action-research. He supervises one of the largest research teams in France (125 senior and junior researchers) which has conducted approximately 2,000 intervention-research projects over 40 years. Henri Savall (together with the Professor Véronique Zardet) has been awarded the famous Rossi Award by the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences (Institut de France, Paris) for their work on the integration of social variables into business strategy. In 2016, he was ranked the 1st influencer in Management in France and the 20th in the world, and in 2017 he was named Chevalier of the Legion of Honor.
